Lake Throssell Potash Project
The Lake Throssell Project covers 757 km² of granted and pending tenements, which cover predominantly salt lake playa sediments and underlying palaeochannels. The Project is located 200 km east of Laverton on the Great Central Road connecting Laverton to Alice Springs.
Auger sampling in December 2019 identified high-grade surface brine samples of up to 6,700 mg/L potassium, or 14.8 kg/m SOP equivalent; with an average grade of 5,300 mg/L potassium, or 11.8 kg/m SOP equivalent from 18 samples (refer announcement 16 December 2019).
Trigg believes that Lake Throssell has the potential to host a sizeable high-tenor SOP endowment and the Project will be the focus of upcoming exploration activities.
